thanks for your reply, I never had this issue on 134, and is a 100%
situation on 147, I also change USB port when I hit this, however, on a
long day I run out of usb ports on my laptop :)

I am also experiencing this issue in 147, although it also occasionally
occurred in 134. The only information I can see online for anything like
this is when the keyboard/mouse stop working after switching with a KVM,
but
like yours, my system disables the USB input devices after sitting idle for
a while, with no KVM involved. For me, unplugging the keyboard/mouse and
plugging them into different USB ports usually fixes the problem, but this
is clearly not an ideal situation.

USB port where mouse is attached, gets disabled after some time without
desktop use (power management?) , this never happen with snv_134, this is
a
know problem with ON> 134 ? , the worst thing is I fail to get port back
without a reboot, can't even unconfigure/configure the disabled port, eg:

r...@lap-calmeida:~# cfgadm -f -c unconfigure usb11/2
Unconfigure the device: /devices/p...@0,0/pci1028,1...@1d:2
This operation will suspend activity on the USB device
Continue (yes/no)? yes
cfgadm: Hardware specific failure: Cannot issue devctl to ap_id:
/devices/p...@0,0/pci1028,1...@1d:2

any one had some adtional info on this?
Regards,
Carlos Almeida,
Looks like http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6974470
actually. Does the workaround help?

Ah, I miss that one when try to find some info about the issue (poor search skill I guess, sorry about that), and yes the workaround while is not ideal, indeed works, this was fixed on svn_148, that means we will not have access to the fix for some time correct ?, meanwhile I can fix it myself I guess, thanks for the heads up.
