Hello Noel, When building obabel I initially did not have the wxGTK installed. I installed it with yum install wxGTK* I can't remember if the -devel package was installed as well.
Other than that missing package i did not have anything else extra to do. I will try installing the updated version on my work fc17 box and see if I can replicate my problem. It only has wxGTK.2.8.12 installed. I wanted to check this, so I installed FC 17 64-bit in VMWare. I installed the packages cmake, libxml2-devel, wxBase and wxGTK and wxGTK-devel. Next I downloaded and compiled openbabel-2.3.2.tar.gz. The GUI built without any problems, and it runs fine. I'm not sure why you saw this error. - Noel On 23 January 2013 02:14, Bennion, Brian <benni...@llnl.gov> wrote: > Hello, > > While compiling 2.3.2 on x86_64 FC 17 machine I receive the following > errors. > I would like to turn off the gui compilation if possible so I can get the > code compiled and working for another program that is dependent upon obabel > libraries. > > > [ 83%] Building CXX object src/GUI/CMakeFiles/obgui.dir/OBGUI.o > In file included from > /home/Dad/software/openbabel-2.3.2/src/GUI/OBGUI.cpp:27:0: > /home/software/openbabel-2.3.2/src/GUI/./OBGUI.h:174:1: error: expected > class-name before ‘{’ token > /home/software/openbabel-2.3.2/src/GUI/OBGUI.cpp: In constructor > ‘OBGUIFrame::OBGUIFrame(const wxString&, wxPoint, wxSize)’: > /home/software/openbabel-2.3.2/src/GUI/OBGUI.cpp:145:30: error: > ‘SetDropTarget’ was not declared in this scope > make[2]: *** [src/GUI/CMakeFiles/obgui.dir/OBGUI.o] Error 1 > make[1]: *** [src/GUI/CMakeFiles/obgui.dir/all] Error 2 > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, > MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
