Thanks for looking into this, Noel!

I got a cmake inside of Cygwin and another one for Windows 7 itself. While I 
invoked the Cygwin cmake it may be possible that the Windows CMake interfered 
at some point and screwed things up? I could try uninstalling the Windows 
CMake. Shall let you know the results (in a few days. Busy with other things 
now).
