Are you sure you are using 25.04.1?
Because this seems like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497715 but should
be fixed on 25.04.1
Unless you manually selected "Use file information to determine whether to open
in continuous mode by default" and then are complaining that this is happening.
