Facing a similar issue on 24.08.3 except the pdf I'm using is about 1gb.
Also strangely facing the same issue sith Papers(gtk) as well. Both of them
corrupt my file and reduce it to about 800mb.
Cannot reproduce it with their rpm packages; it's only limited to the flatpak
version of the apps.
