I had updated the poppler version from 23.05 to 23.06. it took me a lot of time, since this updated version does not exist on manjaro stable repository; therefore, i had to activate the unstable repository, then install it. After the poppler upgrade, the inline text annotation, become better than before in terms of speed. However I've realized something, when the PDF file is new and had no annotations, the inline text annotation works very fast and there is no problem, after a while, when i make many annotations, things become slower in terms of making inline text annotation, and in saving the file after creating this annotation using CTRL + s. This is the exact case that i was facing with Ubuntu. So i think that there is a problem concerning this issue, when the file contains many annotation, the file start to slow down a little bit, than when it has no annotations. Finally, thank you so much for helping me solving my issue, at least, i returned to the Ubuntu experience, which is slow - as i have many annotations in my PDF, but it is better than before. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
