Summary: Library, or list of bookmarked documents. Product: okular Version: 0.12 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: fest...@gmail.com Created an attachment (id=57381) --> (http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=57381) Sketch for example Version: 0.12 (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux Okular is amazing tool for reading. He have bookmarks, annotations, etc. IMHO, only thing is missing is tool to manage(list) needed (frequently used/ favourite/ bookmarked) documents. Use case: 1. You study and have a lot of pdf/epub books, that you read frequently. In this case "recent documents" list is too short. 2. You have few important documents, that you open occasionally. Adding them to "Library list" will save you time for searching them on disk. So adding this feature can help to save a huge ammount of time and provide convenience. As far as i understand, creating "library manager" isn't goal of Okular. But this feature can be achieved without program complication. Adding options "add document to list" and "show list", will help to find fast needed/ frequently used documents. In sketch for example, button "Library" open list of bookmarked documents. Okular just store list of documents urls and show it. Clicking on list entry, opens document.
