Me too I would like to see this bug fixed.
Having this issue on Fedora 12:
$ okular --version
Qt: 4.5.3
KDE: 4.3.3 (KDE 4.3.3)
Okular: 0.9.3
As to comment 4 and comment 22: I doubt this is a problem specific to A4.
Especially comment 20 gives good indication that the page size is not the
cause.
