I have two monitors on my desktop. If I enter presentation mode in the left
one, okular displays a gray screen while rendering the first slide, then starts
the presentation normally.
If I drag okular to my second monitor, and start the presentation, I see the
normal gray, then the slide is rendered, then it is quickly covered by gray
again, and the screen stays that way (but I still can access the normal top
bar).
