Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City
Friday, October 4th -

A brightly plumaged Golden-winged Warbler was ongoing in the parks n. end,
where a Blue-winged Teal as well as Green-winged Teals were also again seen,
and throughout all of the park, very good diversity of migrants including at
least 17 migratory American warbler species in addition to the above continuing
from Thursday.

The Golden-winged and many many other migrants of all kinds were observed at
Central Park on Friday by individual birders and by those with, or leading
not-for-profit guided walks, as is so on nearly any day of the migration season
and on most days all year around in this very popular park visited by thousands
of birders and photographers.

Additional sightings and reports for all of New York County yet to come.

Good and peaceful birding to all,

Tom Fiore
