Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City
Monday, September 23 -

Golden-crowned Kinglet arrivals were noted in Central Park for Monday, while
the tally of migratory American warbler species came to at least 23 species. A
24th species of warbler was seen elsewhere on Manhattan island. These
observations all from multiple observers out at all hours, all affiliated with
not-for-profit conservation organizations, or walking independently. Thanks to
all of them for so many sightings offered in non-x bird alerts and thru ebird
alerts and regular reports, as well as the media archive of the Macaulay
Library. N.B., no sightings by above many observers out on Monday came with a
qualifier such as -early- to any sighting.

Good autumn birding to all,

Tom Fiore
