A 24-hour overnight pelagic is scheduled out of Brooklyn for May 22-23. This is a great time of year to find certain species including South Polar Skua, Long-tailed Jaeger, Arctic Tern, Leach's Storm-Petrel, and a shot at seeing both Red and Red-necked Phalaropes in breeding plumage. It's also the best time of year for Sooty Shearwater in our area. See the list at the link for other targets.
