At Hempstead Lake State Park this afternoon I had a fos Ovenbird on the grassy path to the South Pond. An Eastern Phoebe was a surprise. Also large numbers of Yellow-rumped Warblers kept one on their toes looking for something other than the usual. A few Palms, Black and White, Yellow and Pine were the other warblers noted. Robert A.
