The weekend produced multiple FOS sightings on the East End (East Hampton to Water Mill) including Ruby throated hummingbird indigo bunting (3)pine warblersavannah sparrowpurple martins (4)Green heron (Georgica Cove)lesser yellowlegs (2) along with previously sighted greater yellowlegs (Georgica Cove)Caspian tern (2) and least tern (1) at Mecox PondSnowy Egrets (4) at Mecox Blue-winged teals continue on Georgica Pond / Covea few juncos and white throated sparrows continue as well.on a less happy note: FOS ticks are also present, so proceed with caution while birding grasslands, fields and brushy shorelines!
