Yesterday I spotted the nest box of the Peregrine Falcon pair on the
northernmost building of the Manhattan Psychiatric Center. Below is Google
Maps image of the location. This is a well protected site not accessible to
the public but viewable from the ground east and north of the site. At
least one young falcon was visible on the edge of the building still
covered in brown and black feathers and not yet ready to fledge. There
might be more than the one eyass since the nest box is nicely set back from
the edge and only the top of the nest box structure was visible.

I haven't seen anything definite on the location of a nest box or young
falcons from Randall's Island and thought this would be of interest.
