There's a fairly busy colony of Bank Swallows in the bluffs of Shadmoor State Park, just east of Montauk village, Suffolk County. Entrance is directly off Montauk Highway, and although a New York State Park, there's no fee for entry or parking. Once parked there, follow the main trail briefly and turn obliquely right at the first junction.
