A group of 15 of us are currently watching the bird standing on the edge of Donnelly's pier. Earlier, I also found a red-throated loon, just beginning to transition from alternate plumage, just offshore the Ontario Bakery downstream from the industrial railway crossing in Fort Erie. Several other birders subsequently also saw this bird.
