The location of an AMERICAN WOODCOCK was pointed out by a park
employee. The bird was in the N border garden's center section.

Six sparrow species were spotted: Chipping Sparrow (1), Dark-eyed
Junco (1), Eastern Towhee (2 males), Song Sparrow (4), Swamp Sparrow
(1) and White-throated Sparrow (4).

One PALM WARBLER continues. Feeding on the Great Lawn.

Thanks to Amy Simmons for pointing out the male AMERICAN KESTREL
providing food for itself and possible young by taking a probable SONG
SPARROW from the Great Lawn.
