I took a short walk around Rockefeller State Park this morning, hoping to see my first warblers of the season. Instead I saw a ridiculous 26 Palm warblers with 2 Pine warblers as a bonus. Most wre found in a short stretch along the Pocantico River Trail. An electrically brilliant male Eastern bluebird in the morning light was icing on the cake.
