March 14 - Today between 1:25 and 1:40 PM I observed the Western Grebe. It was about 5 to 10 yards to the right of the Lighthouse at the end of the west pier at the Irondequoit Bay outlet. It was with 8 White-winged Scoters. It was a treacherous windy icy walk. Best Wishes for Great Birding, Bill Watson --
