Took a brief visit to Jones Beach and the rest of the barrier island late this afternoon. No tree swallows, Many red wings, a fos osprey at the Eastern nest at Gilgo, a few boat tailed grackles also at Gilgo and 1 on Wantagh P'kway east side on the way home. Pat Jones --
