February 13 - A female King Eider was found again by Jim Pawlicki at Erie Basin Marina. Looking from the tower look to the left. The King Eider was at the edge of the open water behind the break wall. There were also 12,000 Greater Scaup here and at the West Side Rowing Club. At Strawberry Island there was a Bald Eagle and 8 Great Blue Herons at Motor Island and 5 more at Mid-River Marina. The Field Sparrow (earlier seen by Chris Newton) was coming to the feeder across the road from the Head Quarters at Tifft Nature Preserve. Best Wishes for Great Birding, Bill Watson
