I'm having trouble getting ntop to work with this flag. Something as simple as
> sudo ntop --disable-instantsessionpurge with no other options bombs out: > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: Thu Aug 30 00:17:17 2012 Initializing gdbm databases > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: FATAL ERROR: unknown ntop option, '?' > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: Welcome to ntop v.5.0.1 (32 bit) > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: [Configured on Aug 29 2012 21:20:32, built on Aug 29 > 2012 21:26:07] > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: Copyright 1998-2012 by Luca Deri <[email protected]> > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: Get the freshest ntop from http://www.ntop.org/ > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: Usage: ntop [OPTION] > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: Basic options: > Aug 30 00:17:17 ntop: [-h | --help] > Display this help and exit > Aug 30 00: etc. The odd thing is the error: FATAL ERROR: unknown ntop option, '?' There's no ? on my command line! I've tested this with different flags and have confirmed that this specific error occurs whenever the disable-instantsessionpurge flag is used. noam Noam Birnbaum Mac Daddy http://www.maccentricsolutions.com 877.luv.macs x666 tweet @noamb Tech support —> 877.luv.macs or [email protected]
