For context: the 2.2.6 cap here is a deliberate stopgap, not the end state. numpy (and the rest of the scientific stack) keep raising their Python floors, so we keep hitting this as long as the matrix supports 3.10. I opened a proposal to retire Python 3.10 (EOL Oct 2026) and move the floor to 3.11 — apache/texera#6247.
