> -1 from me. patch releases are for small fixes - not PRs that change thousands of lines of code If its just import order reorganization that doesn't change code behaviour in any way it shouldn't be an issue. We did this before with scalafmt and it was in a patch release, we also added the commit to git blame ignore revs so that it wouldn't appear in git blame as the commit is largely meaningless. That being said, this is still under discussion. We need to figure out if we can actually get this to work, and if not my PR is still valid (on the provision that we are not trying to setup some formal process to force users/developers to format code manually, that was never the intention) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
