Review Comment:
   In this PR, the `InvalidUserInputException` is just used in one instance of 
handling a user error. It will potentially find use in more situations later 
on, and there it may not be used as an embedded cause, but in some different 
way. One future example is in GG - where it will be used when an invalid 
license is supplied by the user, and we use this exception class to distinguish 
the user error from a system error and prevent a node shutdown.
   
   I don't have any strong opinion on where this exception should be placed in 
the module/package hierarchy - just want to point out that it is intended as a 
generic exception for all bad user input on an already running cluster or node.
