Many thanks, Dave. I think that has done the trick. Was puzzled at finding TWO [Ram] entries in the file. From memory: [Ram] base = 0x1000000 16Mb [Ram] base = 0x1400000 16Mb What are the two entries for? When I changed only one from 16Mb to 256Mb, Windows was sorry that Virtual Acorn had encountered an error and could not start. I changed the other entry as well, and now all is well. Methinks VRPC feels faster overall, and Netsurf behaves like it does at home on ArmX6. -- Jim Nagel www.archivemag.co.uk
