Sadly the number of users of NetSurf for RISC OS has nothing to do with
whether it can be maintained. What counts is whether it has any developers
working on it. For the last two years it has not had a developer.

It's certainly unfortunate for RISC OS, but if noone's willing to maintain
NetSurf for RISC OS, there isn't an alternative.

If RISC OS support is removed from NetSurf, it would not stop users using
the last RISC OS release. Also, it wouldn't stop a developer coming
forward in the future, reinstating the RISC OS front end, and doing what's
necessary to maintain it.

Currently there is little advantage to RISC OS users in us keeping the
RISC OS front end as it is anyway. Since the lack of a maintainer is
impeding development of NetSurf's core, progress is stifled on all
platforms, including RISC OS.
