I can't answer that, but there is another problem on the Guardian's
website which I've been meaning to mention for ages.  The stylesheet
doesn't appear to load (either fully or correctly).

eg. the links News Sport Comments should be horizontal, but instead
they appear in a list as if there is no stylesheet.  However, the page
does have a stylesheet of some sort as the articles appear in two
columns (on a non-CSS browser every article appears in the same
column)
