That's interesting -- 4 seconds is probably about the speed I'd expect 
from a page like this. Hence my curiosity!

Just tried again and the page took 184 seconds -- over three minutes 
-- to render fully. Are you using an older NetSurf?

Using a proxy (webcache.virginmedia.com) makes it even worse (210sec).
