With further reference to our Essex Summit proposal and discussion on L3 abstractions support in Quantum, and recent interest from community members on L3 support in Quantum, we have registered a blue print at https://blueprints.launchpad.net/quantum/+spec/quantum-l3-api and posted the corresponding Draft Spec at http://wiki.openstack.org/quantum-l3 Also we have a prototype code for the API models at https://github.com/CiscoSystems/quantum/tree/snaiksat/l3apiframework for your reference. This is just to start the community wide discussions, reviews and collaboration to expand the current Quantum APIs with L3 abstractions to enable richer network topology deployments & services insertion.
