I didnt quiet understand the feature. Could you give me an illustration?

As a note, in case it is what you meant:
with the changes you should be able to redirect or mirror to the device.
Redirect meaning thats the only spot the 
packet gets sent whereas mirroring means only a copy is sent.
You should also be able to do it on ingress and egress level.
