I didnt quiet understand the feature. Could you give me an illustration?


I mean it would be handy to be able to send a packet to dummy to be shaped then when that packet "returns" to then classify/shape again on the real interface.

When I tried with an htb on eth0 and a redirect action to dummy the packets sent to dummy could not be shaped by the htb on eth0 - they go through as direct packets. It may be possible as is - but I couldn't get it to work.
