I won't touch why we share info, others have already beat that horse dead, but I will say that This list is fairly hostile to people wanting to use them as 'free consultants'. Just look back through the archives for people that post with a message similar to: 'I want to start an isp can someone give me a step by step guide'. They aren't usually received nearly as well as someone who asks 'does anyone have any solutions to this specific problem I'm facing?'
