Absolutely, and in our network it does - in most cases. However, ensuring that DHCP hands out a *real* static address every time, in the face of non SP controlled CPEs, changing MAC addresses etc is non-trivial. Steinar Haug, Nethelp consulting, sth...@nethelp.no
