Sorry if this is too far off topic. I am trying to build a MythTV setup using a PVR-350 and an HD-3000.
This will be hooked up to a Sony KD34XBR960 34" HDTV Direct View CRT. The Sony has a HDMI input on it. So I was wondering if getting a card with DVI output would be the best way to hook up to the HDTV? Can the DVI output be connected to the HDMI input on the HDTV? The local store (http://www.pchcables.com) carries six foot DVID to HDMI cables for ~$20.00. Will this work? If so any suggestions on video cards to use? I noticed that the http://www.pchdtv.com/ talked about the ability to use the hardware acceleration in certain Nvidia chipsets. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks, John
