Wouldn't the "retained unsaved view edits" feature of MLO4 help with this? This is the feature where changes made to a view definition are retained within (only) the workspace where the edits were made; they are discarded when the workspace is closed or the view is reset; if the view is saved the changes are propagated to the remaining workspaces. I find this feature complex and confusing but it seems to enable the request at hand. If the user clicks a header column the view would be resorted without any change to the saved sort sequence for the view. Resetting the view would return it to the saved sort sequence. Clicking the header and then saving the view within the same workspace would change the view to use the new sort sequence. All sounds okay to me. -Dwight

I don't see how you implement this without affecting the fundamental sort setup for a view, since normally many fields are hidden. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
