All, I believe the following are the FreeBSD feature patches to Mutt. This is extracted from /usr/ports/mail/mutt/Makefile, which see. Of these, ifdef and initials are included in Neomutt, and are documented there: <https://neomutt.org/feature>. For the rest, as far as I know, the only documentation is the source code. Note that the port configuration option QUOTE_PATCH adds two features, quote and initials. Derek intends to separate the initials patch into its own option shortly, and remove quote, because I found a nasty bug in quote. He may remove initials and the rest of these later.
