No, it's a mbox file containing a few (i.e. four or five) E-Mails.

None of the mbox files in this particular directory can have their
messages tagged.

(To my mind 'Folder' is an MS euphemism  for a directory!)

So, thanks for trying, but I don't think your thoughts are the answer.

I do have write permission (and anyway how could I have written the
messages there if I hadn't) and it's not a mount or a symbolic link or
anything, it's just a directory in my /home/chris hierarchy.
