What part? Gmail is sending your mail so it saves a copy of your sent mail in the "sent" folder/label. When the list mail returns with a copy of the mail you sent, gmail sees it as a duplicate so it does not show (you already have it in your "sent" folder). If you do not use gmail's smpt service, the first time it will see the mail is the return from the mail-list. Use your isp's provided smtp service and use your gmail addr as the "From:" address. This is *exactly* what I am doing in this very post.
