Mmmm, not a bad idea, I was using the "split" > command to break the files... time to look into "man zipsplit", I guess.
"zsplit" cannot do it. It requires the splitted size is at least the size of the smallest of the archived files. I will have to search another one ;-( Greetings, -- Camaleón
