Blanks are not allowed inside "qp-encoded words" (see RFC2047). I believe in a recent commit, mutt has been made more tolerant towards that restriction. Ah here it is: http://dev.mutt.org/hg/mutt/rev/a59e014ef23c so you might want to try a recent development snapshot. regards, Christian
