The alternative_order command does not set the alternative_order list to the command's arguments, it appends those arguments to the list. If you want to replace the contents of the alternative_order list, you'll need to execute the unalternative_order command first. Here's an example of two of the hooks I use to set alternative_order. The lines are really long. folder-hook . 'message-hook ~A "unalternative_order *; alternative_order application/msword application/vnd.msword text/html text/plain"' folder-hook .
