Yep, same here. Considering the number of terminals I've used and the fact that they all support sixteen colours with other apps, I find it difficult to believe it's not Mutt at fault. No amount of googling turns up solutions, nor posting to the list. Maybe it's only a minority of Mutt users who want more than eight colours.
