Ok, blaming hotmail might be the correct answer, however, can mutt
"adapt" to the problem and still show me the umlauts?
Can I do something like "if a mail comes from hotmail than assume this
content-type..."

Hehe, why? Wait, there might come an even more stupid one some time...

Ah, ok, I'll not be able to learn procmail the next days... I'll
