this probably has to do with your terminal settings and / or the terminal emulator you're using. you don't mention what platform you're running, what terminal emulator you're using, or the output of: echo $TERM if you're using xterm, you probably want to set TERM to xterm-xfree86. -- Will Yardley input: william < @ hq . newdream . net . >
