Yes, you may use a browser to dump the html to plaintext which
will be displayed. I think I saw a discussion about how to use
console browsers interactively, but I don't remember any
results, sorry.

Personally I use lynx non-interactively which gives a list of
all links at the end of the text. If I want to follow one, I
use urlview. But that's probably not what you want.

You may also use w3m to view such plaintext messages, you may
then click URLs; but the disadvantage is that they're listed
at the end instead at their origin.
