I was one step ahead of you on that, figuring that you should add a
remove line to however you build, but thought better of it in case you
didn't, in fact, build from a script.  So the answer above should
*really* be "the are both equally painless" :-)

Good enough; you can get what you need and meanwhile someone who cares
can modify the metasources and submit a patch.
