Thanks. I checked my home dir, but they weren't there. I did finally find them in ~/Mail (I use ~/mail). I used an '=' in front of the mailbox names, but it was before the 'set folder="~/mail"' directive, so perhaps that's why it didn't take.
Anyway, I apologize to the list for my previous message, as it is clearly erroneous.
