No I don't: I have it set to "ask-yes", because I don't mind hittin another <enter> when it comes to deletion of mails. You mentioned you just started to use mutt: I'm using it for a few years now (haven't put a mark on the calendar ;), and can assure you: there will be a time you wish you would've been prompted for the deletion!
